Privacy Policy

Last updated October 8, 2026.

This policy describes how FreeDoc (freedoc.live), operated by Island Global Company, handles information. FreeDoc is a library of general health guides. It is designed so that you do not need to give us any personal or health information to use it.

What we do not collect

Information stored on your device

If you use “Save guide,” the list of saved guides is stored in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for freedoc.live.

Hosting and technical logs

FreeDoc is hosted by Vercel. Like any website, when your browser requests a page, our hosting provider receives standard technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent, and may keep it in short-term logs for security and operations. Because search runs in your browser, these requests are for pages and files, not your search terms (except when you load a search results page whose address contains your search in its URL, which may appear in standard request logs). We do not combine this information with other data or use it to identify you.

Links to other websites

Guides link to external sources such as government and medical organizations. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Health information and HIPAA

FreeDoc is not a healthcare provider, health plan or healthcare clearinghouse, and it does not collect health information from users. This policy does not claim HIPAA compliance or certification.

Children

FreeDoc is a general-audience reference site and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date above shows when it was last updated.
